“Hold the mike!”

18.09.2007 from Stephan Uhrenbacher

It was great fun being interviewed by Eugene and Vincent from intruders.tv . As you might guess, not so much during the interview but before and after. Watching the interaction between the two was hilarious: “Hold the mike!”. They really seem to enjoy what they are doing. Both also got quite nervous when I pulled out my camera to take a picture of them. But on the other hand, looking at my haircut on the video, maybe that’s what made them nervous.

To mark these key dates we want you to tell us all about the most ‘fashionable’ places where you live. Could be a restaurant, fabulous boutique or something so original, hip and trendy it can’t be pinned down.

We’ve got 10 of the fashion packs favourite vanity cases - the Xenon Flash Beauty - to give away, so don’t be shy, tell us all about the most fashionable in your area and you could end up winning one, worth £60 courtesy of www.ebags.co.uk
All you have to do to be entered in the draw is to write a review of a fashionable place before September 30. Winners will be announced in October and receive their fabulous prize!

bite the qype that feeds you

16.09.2007 from Andrew

Well, I’ve been here a month now, so you could argue it’s time for my first post! Honestly, we’ve not been slacking too much. In fact, we’ve been beavering away on this:

microfeeds on your myqype page

Perhaps I get easily excited, but I do really love this. We wanted to make it easier for you to see exactly what all your friends are up to, and whenever something’s happening with your favourite places or groups - and now you can keep track of it with your personal feed. It’s a beta for now - so expect some enhancements (RSS/custom email options etc) - but please let us know what you think!

Some may still think that Qype is about restaurants… We just found this poland_mtns.jpg about a totally different experience.
