Qype visits the cheese cave of West London

Every month we hold an ‘Exclusive Ninja Event’, to treat our most dedicated Qypers. In the past we’ve tried our hand at wine tasting, chocolate making, sushi and sake matching and even knitting.

But last night it was time for us to move in to the world of cheese, and what a glorious, tasty world that is.

We were invited the the newly opened La Cave a Fromage by the brilliant Amnon and his team, and we didn’t need to be asked twice. A dozen lucky Qypers got to taste a selection of remarkable cheeses from all over the world, accompanied by soem cracking wines and even a drop of alcohol made from whey (weird!).

As you’ll see from the photos there were also plenty of meats, and bread to keep us happy and everyone went away very happy, very full and much more knowledgeable about all things cheese (even the poor lactose intolerant Qyper who had to bring his own drugs). If you want to know a little more about what we got up to Qyper Chris has written up the evening over on the Qype does London blog.

We’ve got plenty more Exclusive Ninja Events on the way so if you haven’t hit that magical 1000 point level yet then get reviewing!

Hey, Qypers - I love cheese as much as the next person, but how about organising an event at The Make Lounge? We’re fab at creating stylish, social crafting evenings (for guys and girls) and everyone gets to take home a chic, handmade item!

The cheeses and salamis - what a selection. Simply great!
