Qype and GeoMe

GeoMe is a free application that allows users to leave messages on a map for their friends to see. The company recently launched a mobile search engine that allows users to search for information in the city according to the mood they’re in, whether it’s hungry, energized, sexy, cheap, sleepy, or ‘culture vulture’.
Last week GeoMe completed an integration of Qype content using our API platform, boosting the choice of content GeoMe is able to offer its members by adding 3 million reviewed listings available in key European markets, including Germany, France and the UK, as well as worldwide.
“We liked both the breadth and the quality of the information in Qype, with the inclusion of reviews by the Qype community offering a perfect fit with our GeoMe community model,” said GeoMe’s CEO, Ric Ferraro, about choosing Qype as a content partner.
