Join Qype Aces

Qype, Europe’s leading review website, is looking to recruit a full deck of Aces from around the UK. Be our ears, eyes, hands and feet in your city and join the movement to Qype the nation.

With our website users can write reviews and recommendations for everything from restaurants, hairdressers and nightlife to sports clubs, boutiques, cinemas and spas. You can get fantastic deals and offers, read our blogs and so much more.

An important part of the Qype experience, and the part where you come in, is our events and as a Qype Ace you will be the face of the events in your city. With the help of the London based team, you will seek out the most interesting and unique opportunities in your city to organise exciting one-off free events.

What will I do?

• Promote Qype membership to local businesses and display Qype stickers
• Organise small events
• Host events and collect content
• Build a network of VIQs and encourage Qype sign-ups
• Occasionally write blog posts

Internship – B2C Marketing and Community Assistant – we are now booked up until October, but we will be offering an internship for April – July 2012

The UK community team’s amazing intern Katie is leaving us (and has got a great social media job at Fresh Networks!) and we’re looking for someone to join us for a three-month fixed-term contract, helping with community support, marketing, engagement and more.

This is a great role for a media/marketing student (we can offer flexible hours to suit your studies) or recent graduate looking to get community experience in a thriving online business.

Duties will include:

* Being active on qype.co.uk and answering user’s queries
* Moderating the site
* Sourcing interesting, UK-wide content for our blogs
* Helping out with our social media and online marketing

We can’t promise you riches but we’ll give you a daily allowance for your travel and lunch, and keep you in fun freebies.

Our ideal intern would be:

* Web-savvy
* A social media lover
* A great writer with links to back this up
* Bright, self-motivated and willing to help out with anything
