Last night saw a merry bunch of Qype landlubbers trying out their sea legs (kind of) aboard the Battersea Barge.

This was the third official Qype party and, as usual, a good time was had by all. We even managed to sort out name tags this time so it was much easier for everyone to recognise their fellow Qypers, plus there was the usual raffle. Congratulations go to Annie Mole who won the (now traditional) oversized Chupa-Chup, and to Louis58, who scooped the top prize of a dinner for two at the Oxo Tower.

Ahoy there, mateys!

You all all best be getting ready for Qype’s next great, big shindig on the Battersea Barge.

Mark yerr calendars for July 3^rd @ 19:00 hours when Qypers will walk the plank, have some grog, and just have a right jolly time ‘til the last buccaneer is standing.

And speaking of buccaneers, there’s talk in yonder party forum of Qypers donning pirate get-ups for the event. May be worth yerr while to check out a costume shop like this one in Clapham so that Cap’n Rob  won’t be settin’ sail solo, if you catch mi drift!

We’ve only just recovered from the last party, but as it was so much fun we feel it only fair that we give you advance warning about the next one. It’s on a boat and everything. So mark 3rd July in your diary.

Battersea Barge is all the way down in Vauxhall, but it’s well worth the trip. It’s a cute little boat and there will no doubt be lots of silly shenanigans. This is a Qype party after all. Seeing as at least three Qypers can’t swim (including Siany), this is quite an interesting choice of venue.
